About read & nest

read & nest is for people who see their home and their reading life as the same project.

We believe a good book deserves a good place to be read — a chair that's actually comfortable, a shelf that doesn't stress you out, a corner of a small apartment that feels like it's yours. You don't need a library or a big budget to get there. You just need a few good ideas and the willingness to rearrange what you already have.

That's what you'll find here: book recommendations worth your time, real ways to carve out a reading space — even a tiny one — and budget-minded ideas for making your home feel more intentional, one shelf, one chair, one weekend project at a time.

Pull up a chair. Stay a while.
